A perfect picture is not always one where your child is sitting still, posed precisely looking at the camera and smiling. My favorite picture hanging in my home is of my little girl looking down while sitting on a trunk. She wasn’t posing for me but I was able to capture HER, the real her in all her cuteness! A perfect picture is one that captures the subjects personality, attributes and the beautiful light in their soul showing through their eyes. One that portrays the innocence of your child, the happiness between your family, or the sassiness of that high school senior with ambition in their demeanor as they have their whole life ahead of them. I love when a client has told me that I captured their child perfectly or that the pictures made them cry.

I strive to capture YOUR child or YOUR family, therefore I may ask you to do silly things at your shoot. I want there to be intimate and real interaction between you and your family – that’s when a true picture is made and becomes a treasure!

Your photo session will last approximately 1-1/2 hours. I then go through all the pictures I have taken and pic out the very best 20-25 images and those are the images that I edit for you. Those are the images that you are able to choose from for your prints.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Bright colors go very well with my particular photo style. If it looks really funky it’s most likely PERFECT for your pictures. I highly suggest adding in hats, scarfs, boots, legging’s, jackets, vests, etc….! All these items give punch and excitement to your photos. Ask me for any further recommendations on clothing. You are allowed one wardrobe change during your shoot.
