I am looking for a young couple. They could be newly married, engaged, dating, whatever the case that doesn’t really matter to me. They have to be naturally affectionate with one another and very comfortable with one another. They must be willing to go along with all my CRAZY ideas at the session. This is for a project that I am doing. This couple will receive the free photo session and a free 11×14 of their choice. If this sounds like you …. great! I am literally in love with the movie ’27 Dresses’. I know it’s a little cliche – a movie just like all the other chick flicks out there but I love it! I have probably seen it 15 times. I love the guy on it and hope he stars in many more movies in the future. My favorite part is when they are singing Benny and the Jets in the bar … okay that’s beyond the point. When they talk about their favorite part of a wedding being when the bride walks down the isle to be able to see the look on the grooms face. Well this happens to be my favorite part of a wedding ceremony also, always has been. When Dru walked down the isle I immediately glanced over and Nate, even though I knew exactly what I see. His eyes portrayed the happiness and joy Dru brings to his life, and I gurantee he was also thinking … “WOW, I am marrying the most beautiful bride ever”. Because he was right … Dru looked nothing short of perfection, a stunning bride. All night Nate looked at her with gentleness and a sense of longing to take care of her for the rest of her life. It was darling and I think you two are perfect for eachother. Nate and Dru it was a pleasure working with the both of you, thank you for allowing me to capture your day, take care of each other and my best wishes are sent to you as you begin your life together.

They walked out of the temple doors hand in hand, where Travis carefully guided Meg through with door for they were now husband and wife. The smiles were everywhere, then came the hugs …. a feeling of delight and excitement for a couple who has now started their eternal journey hand in hand. Family, friends … loved ones; they all felt it – I felt it …. true unconditional love radiating from a couple who has vowed to give themselves whole heartedly to one another for time and all eternity. The smiles could not have been wiped off Meg and Trav’s faces … though the jokes are easily thrown out to one another, the deep happiness and excitement came straight from their souls and it radiated throughout the crowd. I felt privelaged and honored to be a part of your incredible day and thank you for allowing me to be, more than that I thank you for being yourselves – I adore the both of you and wish you the very best in all that life has to offer you as you continually and endlessly walk hand in hand.

*Travis’ Grandma was so cute and seemed so sweet … she shed a tear here*

The details, ah the details … I love shooting the details of a wedding. Lots of time and hard work goes into them. The details at their wedding were beautiful, unique and oh-so-them.

You may recognize these cute faces from the engagement session below. We did their brials/groomals last week. They are a blast to work with and I feel privilaged to be their photographer. They have me laughing the whole time – I seriously wonder how any of the pictures turn out without major camera shake . Hailee I promise there are pictures with you smiling … you just pull the most perfect serious face ever, so of course those are my favorites! Can’t wait for the wedding.

These were taken over a month ago and the wedding has already come and gone. I will have photos of their wedding day on here soon. You guys were sooo fun to work with, thank you for choosing me to capture your special day! Even though the groom ….. he beat me in Texas Holdem a few months ago which does not sit well with me I need a re-match Trav!

This couple is so darling. I love to watch couples like them interact – they were glowing with happiness and constantly laughing. I asked them how they met of course and they proceeded to tell me how they dated off-and-on for awhile, I happen to love stories like those – when they just can’t stay away from each other and always go back to one another. My husband and I have a similar story, which is why it rings true to my heart! Meet Hailee and Rob, get used to seeing their cute faces on here for awhile we have groomals and the wedding day both creepin’ up on us! Can’t wait!

It was 110 degrees when we took these pictures …. way too hot for me and definitely too hot for a girl to be wearing a wedding dress – however, you would NEVER know, would ya? Dru was down for ANYTHING … any of my crazy ideas … she was willing, she didn’t even care about getting her dress dirty!! She also likes more of the sexy look for bridals, which I totally agree with !! Dru also is a lucky girl to have such a great maid of honor. She drove 3 hours just to come to her bridals to help her out! Super sweet …. friends like that are hard to find – hold on to each other. Thanks Tarese (sp?) for all your help! Check out Dru’s dress … it’s divine! I think it’s perfect, I love dresses that are form fitting and simple yet glamourous. PERFECTION! Can’t wait for the wedding.
